Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
This policy explains what DCCards ("we") collects and how it's used. DCCards is a fan-made app for tracking Dungeon Crawler Carl trading cards.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and sign-in provider (Apple, Google or email) when you create an account.
- Profile: the handle, display name, title, bio, avatar, favorite subset and books-read list you choose. These are visible to other crawlers.
- Collection: the cards and versions you own, pack counts and price-per-pack settings.
- Community content: posts, photos, comments, messages, trade and purchase offers, and store stock reports you submit.
- Location: only when you use Stock, to find nearby stores. Your precise location isn't stored on our servers; store reports include the store, not you.
- Notifications: a device token, only if you turn push notifications on.
- Subscription status: which Crawler Subscription tier you have. Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
How we use it
To run the app: syncing your vault and profile, showing community features, leaderboards and stock alerts, sending notifications you opted into, and preventing abuse. We do not sell your personal information and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Data is stored with Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions and messaging). Price lookups are sent to eBay's public listings API without any personal information. Purchases are processed by Apple.
Your choices
- Edit your profile any time in the app.
- Turn notifications off in DCCards Settings.
- Delete your account and its data any time in Settings → Account Management & Data Privacy → Delete Account Permanently.
Children
DCCards isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a significant way, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app.
